Barbara Jean Barta Honored with CASA Award
CASA Glynn recently named Barbara Jean Barta as the recipient of the 2017 Alice Bradford Award. The award was established in the honor of its namesake, a driving force behind the establishment of CASA Glynn. The award is given to the CASA Board Member who displays a greater devotion to CASA Glynn, and the children it serves who need a voice. Lillian Clarke said, “Barbara Jean has quietly made many contributions to CASA Glynn. She is always there for the children in Glynn County whenever there is a need, and never seeks recognition or even thanks. Attentive to the needs, she is always an encouraging voice in both word and deeds. She is a true champion for the children, and a great warrior for CASA. Due to her sense of commitment, humility and decency, it is an honor to have Mrs. Barbara Jean Barta as the 2017 Alice Bradford recipient.”
