Make 2018 Your Beach Year
Let Georgia Coast Surgical and Power Spa help you work toward obtaining that beach body you’ve always wanted in the New Year! Georgia Coast Surgical is the exclusive local provider of both the "Fire” and “Ice" non-surgical body sculpting techniques, which include CoolSculpting, Vanquish ME, Flex HD, and Cellutone. These techniques require no surgery, anesthesia, or needles. There is no down time, so you can get a treatment and return to your usual activities without any limitations.
Unlike lasers, techniques used at Georgia Coast Surgical destroy many of the fat cells in targeted areas so that they are no longer present to store fat. The fatty acids in these cells are used by the body as fuel, the ketone part of fat is excreted, and the other cell components are naturally disposed of through by the body. This results in the decrease in size of pockets of fat, thus minimizing the size of fatty bulges. Human beings don't make new fat cells after adolescence, so no new cells can form in the treated area to store fat. However, we advise our patients to not gain weight after their treatments, since weight gain will make any improvements less noticeable. A patient’s weight is taken at each visit, in order to monitor progress and help them obtain their best results.
In the “Fire” stage of treatment, the Vanquish ME machine treats large volumes of fat by radiofrequency ablation, which heats the fat cells to 46 degrees Centigrade. The treatment wand doesn't even touch the patient. With four weekly 45-minute treatments, some patients see a reduction in their waist circumference of one to four inches. Vanquish ME can be performed on the front of the abdomen and then on the back, along with the Cellutone device--the "Silhouette" process--to deliver even more amazing results. The Flex HD attachment can also be used to treat thigh fat (in women) and upper arm fatty deposits.
During the “Ice” stage, two CoolSculpting machines, which cool fat in the treatment area to approximately -14 degrees Centigrade, are utilized to sculpt smaller fatty bulges to refine the results of Vanquish treatments. Having two machines means that a patient can be treated to transformation twice as fast as they could be treated with only one machine. Four staff members are graduates of CoolSculpting University and are experienced in this treatment. Currently there are at least nine different body areas which can be treated by CoolSculpting: the inner and outer thighs, fat around the abdomen on the front and back of the body in several different areas (including "bra fat"), upper arms, and the fatty pocket under the chin. There are multiple sizes of applicators to conform to areas of concern in most patients. Treatments range from 35-75 minutes depending on areas treated and applicators used. There are some areas where two treatments are recommended from the start, and there are times when treating the same area two or three times will be required to get the desired results.
After either of these treatments, results can be enhanced by applying the Cellutone device. This device uses sound wave pulses to further pulverize fat cells, and increases blood flow and lymphatic drainage in the treated area as well. The Cellutone device can also be used as a stand-alone treatment for cellulite.
All of these technologies are FDA approved and treatments are done by the trained staff at Georgia Coast Surgical, the only practice in this area to offer these three different treatment options in one place. Consultations can be scheduled and are always free. A sequence of treatment will be recommended that is designed you the best results. This may mean that you would get a package of treatments which include all of the different technologies. Prices vary according to what the patient wants to accomplish, and an estimate can be provided after your consultation. Additionally, Georgia Coast Surgical can help guide you toward financing your treatments. "You deserve it all, so get it all done!"
