Morella Frederick has opened a multi-faceted tailor shop at 315 Longview Plaza. With over 30 years of experience in fashion design, tailoring, alterations, and custom-made clothing, she not only offers tailor and alteration services, but can also provide image consulting, personal shopping, wardrobe consultation, made-to-measure clothing and suits, custom-made wedding dresses, even made-to-measure for wheelchair users. Morella is originally from Barbados and moved to St. Simons Island from Boston where she worked for multiple companies as head tailor. Additional custom creations she offers include cushions, curtains, sheets and bedding, and clothing for children and pets. This summer she is offering classes in level up and sewing.
