The Golden Isles CVB was recently awarded The Bill Hardman Sr. Tourism Partnership Champion Award by Gov. Nathan Deal and Deputy Director of Tourism Kevin Langston. This prestigious award is given to an organization that collaborates to increase visitation and tourism expenditures in their area. The CVB was recognized for its successful and unparalleled cooperative marketing efforts with tourism partners. Through these opportunities, the CVB united its partners to work together to increase brand exposure by reaching broad, national and regional markets. Scott McQuade, President and CEO of the Golden Isles CVB was pleasantly surprised to receive the prestigious award. “This reward has special meaning to our community as we have been recognized for our ability to work together and create partnerships,” said McQuade. “We could not have achieved the record growth in tourism working as individuals and I commend the all the tourism partners that have rallied with the CVB to create an incredible team effort.”
