How to Transform a Faux Christmas Wreath
By Austin Williams Designs
1. Fluff the faux stems.
2. Insert stems of evergreens to layer the wreath. Utilize nature around you. I went into my yard and cut fresh juniper, fir, and other evergreens to give my faux wreath a real look. You can use any plant life that fits your style. Other great plants to use are ferns, magnolia leaves, Spanish moss, and small palm fronds.
3. Lay out your cuttings and remove lower branches and leaves - around 1/4 of an inch. Insert these in various parts of the wreath. Layer different colors and textures; this creates depth and gives your wreath that extra touch of luxury.
4. Now add ribbon or festive stems. The fresh cuttings with last 2-3 weeks, potentially longer if out of direct sunlight. Mist the wreath, but make sure not to damage the ribbon or other decorative accessories.
