The Island Concert Association presents its annual February Festival with concerts every Tuesday night. All concerts are FREE and begin at 7pm at St Simons Presbyterian Church. Arrive early to guarantee a seat. "Because music matters!"
February 7 - Anna Bobolubova - A Ukrainian national treasure, Anna has won five international piano competitions including the New York Chopin Competition. She also composes and has toured the world giving solo concerts.
February 14 - Kayla Williams, Viola with Chris McCarthy, Piano - This Florida native, with a Masters degree from Julliard, plays bluegrass and jazz as well as classical viola pieces.
February 21 - Seipp/Sheets Duo - Trumpeter Chuck Seipp and organist Randall Sheets are two performers at the top of their craft, and both are high-profile musicians in their own right. Their concerts are an innovative blend of standard repertoire, patriotic programs, and contemporary arrangements with video.
February 28 - Arkai Music - The duo of violinist Jonathan Miron and cellist Philip Sheegog add the percussion talents of Jeremy Smith to blend innovative ideas into an energetic, inspiring and fun evening of music, forging new vistas for what violin or cello can be.
