to
Klezmer? Think: Eastern European folk… meets Fiddler on the Roof … meets jazz… meets dance tunes. Promise: you won’t stay sitting on your keister.
The band has been dazzling audiences with their brilliant technique and style, playing at the St. Augustine Romanza Festivale, Baptist churches and bar mitzvahs.– and also the Jacksonville JazzFest for a couple years.
The Band:
Kenneth Every, the Principal Timpanist of the Jacksonville Symphony, formed the group in 2012 and named it after Guy Yahuda, a virtuoso Israeli-American clarinetist. Kenneth was also a fellow with the New World Symphony.
Ran Kampel: Principal Clarinet of Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra and a fellow with the New World Symphony.
James Jenkins, Principal Tuba in the Jacksonville Symphony brass section.
Dennis Hunsicker, on accordion, has a four year degree in accordion.
Please feel free to get up and dance if your doctor allows it. We hope you enjoy this soulful music that seems to touch everyone who hears it.
Tickets are $50 per person and include light buffet.
