Ingredients:
2 c. sour cream
1/2 c. milk
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1/2 c. diced onions
2 lbs. squash, sliced, cooked and drained
1 8 oz. package shredded cheddar cheese, divided
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°. Combine sour cream, milk, and Worcestershire sauce in a 2-quart casserole dish. Add breadcrumbs to mixture and mix well. Slice squash and boil or steam until fork tender. Add onion, squash, and cheese, reserving 1 ounce for topping, to casserole dish. Mix well. Bake for 25 minutes. Top with reserved cheddar cheese and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
**For a taste and color variation, substitute 1 pound of squash with zucchini.
