Mullet Bay Night
Mullet Bay Restaurant on St. Simons Island at night
A St. Simons Island tradition for Village visitors, Mullet Bay has always had the tried and true fried seafood platters, large portions, and low prices that draw diners. The big white porch with comfy furniture and pretty greenery beckons passersby to come sip something cool and sit for a spell.
Inside, sunshine streams into the spacious Key West-style dining area where ceiling fans spin lazily overhead. Behind the large, well-stocked bar, there’s always a smiling face ready to mix up your favorite island concoction or pour a tall, cold, draft. It’s a great place to sit and chat with friends, have lunch with the girls, or bring the family for dinner, with the dining room open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Large parties? No problem. There’s plenty of room here!
Just because Mullet Bay is an island tradition, that doesn’t mean it’s old hat. They’re all about keeping things fresh. The new deck outside offers a more comfortable dining experience while still providing ample covered areas to keep diners out of the elements. With a wide array of great burgers, fresh fish and seafood, including new seafood baskets, and plenty of other choices, even the pickiest eaters will be happy. A helpful and friendly waitstaff makes sure your visit is sure to be a pleasant one.
Continuing the theme of keeping things fresh, General Manager Judah Lynch says there are some other things to look for on the horizon including new drink specials and live music on Sundays. Another great reason to see what you’ve been missing if you haven’t been to Mullet Bay lately.
