The Correll Scholars program at the Communities of Coastal Georgia Foundation (CCGF) recently recognized its 2020-2021 recipients: Amirah Richardson (Valdosta State University) and Dillon Booker (College of Coastal Georgia). The program was established by A.D. “Pete” and Ada Lee Correll to assist talented Glynn County high school graduates who are members of the Elizabeth F. Correll Teen Center of the Boys & Girls Club of Southeast Georgia in pursuing a two- or four-year academic degree through one of Georgia’s public academic or technical colleges. “The Foundation is so honored to be able to leverage the philanthropy and community vision of Ada Lee and Pete Correll and make a meaningful investment that will change the lives of two excellent Coastal Georgians,” said Paul White, President & CEO of CCGF. “I cannot wait to see where Amirah and Dillon will be when they have completed four years of college.”
