Recent Glynn Academy graduate Matthew Pendarvis was named the second recipient of the prestigious Robert M. Torras, Sr. Scholarship. Established by the late Bob Torras, Sr., the scholarship is awarded annually to a Glynn County student attending the Georgia Institute of Technology and covers all academic, housing, and living costs for four years. Matthew completed his education at Glynn Academy with a long list of honors. In addition to being a top student, he is an accomplished cellist who played with the Golden Isles Youth Orchestra. At Georgia Tech, Matthew will major in Physics and may be auditioning for the university’s orchestra. For more information on the Robert M.
