There were lots of oyster knives busy at the shucking tables under the beautiful oaks of Gascoigne Bluff during the St. Simons Land Trust’s annual Oyster Roast. Approximately 1600 guests attended the sold-out event, where our local restaurants served up an abundance of delicious food, and the amazing crew of volunteers worked hard to make sure everything went smoothly. It’s always such a pleasure to see island residents and guests from far and near come out to this wonderful celebration of community and support the cause of preservation.
