The St. Simons Land Trust recently celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the acquisition of Cannon’s Point Preserve. There were numerous engaging and educational programs and presentations during the weekend, including a performance by the Geechee Gullah Ring Shouters, activities with UGA, the DNR, and Coastal WildScapes. The conservation and preservation of this beautiful, undeveloped site on St. Simons Island is significant on so many levels, we hope you get out there to enjoy it year-round.
