The Coastal Georgia Historical Society welcomed noted historian Dr. Jessica Harris as the speaker at their annual winter meeting at St. Simons Presbyterian Church. Her discussion “African/American: Making the Nation’s Table” was inspired by a museum exhibit she curated that explored the influence African foods and culture had on American cuisine.
