Gourmet and Grill
For the gourmet grillers and culinary adventurers in your life, we’ve assembled some great products available at local retailers to take your dishes from pan to plate to palate. From Golden Isles Olive Oil, there are flavored pastas, pasta sauce, olive oils and balsamic vinegars, bacon bourbon BBQ sauce and bacon pepper jam, wine, the wooden olive tray, wooden spoons, and a large charcuterie board. Additional BBQ rubs and sauces were provided by Southern Soul Barbeque. The mixing bowls, pepper dish and easel are from B&B Design and Consign. Island ACE Hardware supplied the Big Green Egg towels (because we couldn’t carry over the Big Green Egg itself), and BBQ wood chips. The silver fish and dried lemons came from Restoration Imports. Schott Zwiesel wine glasses were provided by Indigo & Cotton, while the unique grapevine cork screw came from Low Country Walk Antiques, the faux grapes from Taylor House Interiors, and the antique-style scale from Ronne’s on Market Street. The Master of the Grill cookbook can be purchased at Righton Books.
Here’s to the gentlemen who love sports and games, regardless of their team affiliation. The wooden chess/checker set is available at Taylor House Interiors. The lawn bowler statue and wooden lawn bowls can be found at Low Country Walk Antiques. They also supplied the cast iron horse, which makes a perfect gift for the equine lover, when accompanied by a special beach ride with The Stables at Frederica. The tic-tac-toe board can be found at Restoration Imports. Righton Books has the “Play Your Cards Right” game, but if you want more casino card action, try a cruise on the Emerald Princess Casino boat. The cocktail shaker set came from Indigo & Cotton, while B&B Design & Consign offers the perfect decanter and old fashioned glasses for a delightful evening sip.

Fun and Games
If there’s anything we know and do well on this island, it’s golf and Bloody Marys. The King & Prince Golf Club pro shop can set you up from head to toe to golf bag with FootJoy shoes, gloves, visors, golf towels, and head covers. They can also special order clubs, if needed. You can also represent island life with a Golf Partee Swig Life tumbler from St. Simons Drug Co. or a classic SSI Tee Time logo hat. Package up some Bloody Mary mix and habanero pickles from Golden Isles Olive Oil along with a copy of The Masters from Righton Books for a Sunday afternoon well-spent.

Golf
For the outdoorsman, Indigo & Cotton has stylish waxed canvas shotgun and rifle cases from Mission Mercantile and Sterling Brooke pocket knives. Island ACE Hardware has the nets you need for a day on the boat. If you’re looking to add some more masculine touches to the den or elsewhere around the house, the decoy and lab salt & pepper shakers can be found at Low Country Walk Antiques, while the rope ball, plant, lamp, and binoculars on the stand are available at Taylor House Interiors. The vintage Higdon’s print is from B&B Design & Consign. What a perfect memory of “old St. Simons!”

Hunting and Fishing
It’s not always easy to pick the right book for a bibliophile, so you might want to help dress up his desk or beautify the bookshelves. For the UGA fan, show some sophisticated Bulldawg spirit with this bulldog in a tux from Ronne’s on Market Street. If you roll with the Tide, acrobatic elephant bookends may be more your style. They are available at Taylor House Interiors, as is the handsome nautical clock. Righton Books can supply the reading material (or gift cards), scented candles, and a stylish pair of readers. They also sell this cool spinning globe you need to see to appreciate. For those who enjoy a nightcap with a good read, B&B Design & Consign has gorgeous crystal like these Faberge glasses and the Baccarat Harcourt decanter.
