Lady Outfitters
Elizabeth Jordan, Doreen Smith, Faith Smith.Lady Outfitters once had its own storefront at the Shops at Sea Island. In 2002, Elizabeth Jordan, co-owner of Lady Outfitters with her brother, Frank Still, decided to consolidate inventory with sister store, Gentlemen’s Outfitters. Elizabeth decided to focus on scarves, handbags, belts, jewelry, home accessories and women’s shoes, and phase out ladies apparel. Over the years, she noticed that some of her accessories accounts were expanding into simple clothing items that were easy to wear, such as colorful short caftan-styled blouses that could be worn as a swimsuit cover-up or with jeans. Demand increased for additional styles, and now Jordan’s clothing selection includes dresses, pants, skirts and tops as well as items from Southern Proper and Madras, two top lines for Gentlemen’s Outfitters. For 30 years, their service experts have always known exactly how to help a customer achieve a great look. 600 Sea Island Road, Shops of Sea Island. 912.634.1521
