Presented during the 3rd Annual Georgia Aviation Programs Forum, the award highlights the Commission’s educational programs, public outreach, special events, and marketing initiatives. Recognized efforts included Aviation Career Day, the Coastal Georgia Honor Flight, Angel Flight missions, the Pilot Recognition Program, the Golden Isles Airshow, and the Commission’s social media and marketing program. "This recognition is a testament to the dedication of our staff, Airport Commissioners, volunteers, community partners, and aviation supporters who continually work to make our airports an asset to the Golden Isles," said Executive Director Robert Burr.
