Artist Linda Dotter
The paintings of Linda Perno Dotter will be showcased in the Jekyll Island Art Association’s November exhibit at Goodyear Cottage. Originally from Monmouth County, New Jersey, Linda discovered her creative passion early in life and refined her artistic skills at the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Art. She has received commissions for tourist publications, logo design, and personalized oil paintings held in personal and corporate collections. Now living on the Georgia coast, Linda draws daily inspiration from the area's rich wildlife, vibrant colors, and ever-changing light. An active member of Jekyll Island Art Association, McIntosh Art Association, and Georgia Coastal Artists Guild, Linda strives to capture a moment, a memory, a place, or a person with atmosphere and emotion. Her work reflects both technical skill and a deep connection to her surroundings. The exhibit is on display November 1-24, with a Meet the Artist reception on Sunday, November 2 from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
