Opening a boutique named for granddaughter Kollier, Debra Dobbs made a big change from her 20-year teaching career when she began Kollier & Co. She followed her daughter Lindsay’s encouragement and their shared love for shopping and fashion, beginning the store as a marketplace six years ago. Three years later she opened a brick-and-mortar storefront, then launched her website offering the latest apparel and accessories for women of all ages, sizes, shapes, and budgets. Now she brings that welcoming atmosphere and eye for style to St. Simons Island with Kollier & Co. Boutique, Market, and Gifts, located at 3600 Frederica Road, Unit 3. Open 10:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Tuesday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Saturday, and 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.
