Two Brothers Bike Shop
Brothers Max Melvin and Jake Clarkin St. Simons Island’s Pier Village (next door to St. Simons Sweets). Max has been in the bike business since he was 15 years old, learning the trade in his job at Benjy’s Bike Shop. When Benjy decided to retire, the brothers decided to buy his inventory and open their own business.
A full-service shop, they offer rentals, repairs, and sell everything from bike parts and accessories and riding equipment to a bicycle built for two. They carry reputable brands like 3G, Cannondale, Diamondback and Raleigh. The bright yellow Atlas Sun cycles are their rental fleet. With rental rates as low as $10 for 2 hours, and long-term rentals available, you’re sure to see lots of the them out on the island bike paths.
Two Brothers is especially proud to carry the 3G line, which is relatively new to our area, and they stress that they can customize any bike to make it fit your needs and suit your personality. Bright orange, pink, blue, and green wheels, a softer seat, a snazzy seat cover, a wicker basket, they’ve got it all, so you can show off your style whether riding on the beach or up to the park.
So if you’re looking for a rental for guests, a tune-up or repair, or to purchase a brand new cruiser, these brothers have what you need. Like the Wright Brothers, it looks like their business is going to take wing and fly!
