After 20+ years, Anne Whittle and Adgate Cole recently sold their successful boutique Planters Exchange to Delaine and Robert Haulbrook. Anne will hopefully be relaxing and spending time between her homes in SSI and Macon, while Adgate will be focusing on her family’s store, Maggie’s. The Haulbrooks have been a part of the island community for 15 years. Planters Exchange will continue to carry all the classic, high quality brands that make this boutique so popular. The Haulbrooks plan to further broaden the business’s appeal by introducing new apparel and jewelry lines in the fall.
