Madeline Miller’s Circe, a bold retelling of the story of the Greek mythological goddess and most infamous female figure from the Odyssey will be the focus of NEA Big Read community-wide reading initiative in February and March. The Middle and Little Big Reads will feature companion books for young and middle grade readers. The NEA Big Read is a program of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest and is coordinated locally by Golden Isles Arts & Humanities, College of Coastal Georgia, Marshes of Glynn Library System, and Three Rivers Regional Library System.
