On November 5 a tiny ribbon cutting ceremony with tiny scissors will mark the grand opening of
local illustrator ED Hose’s very tiny studio art gallery on St. Simons Island. The event will take place at 5-7 p.m. with live music, libations and one-of-a-kind giveaways. ED has been building a name for herself over the past 20 years, using her expressive color, detailed line work, and whimsical viewpoint, to bring life to freelance projects for businesses, authors, and households. The gallery will feature prints, note cards, gifts, and décor. ED will also offer on-site personalization of a signature Golden Isles-themed poster. She will be available to meet for custom commissions Tuesday-Sunday from 12:00-6:00 p.m. and by appointment. The Studio will be open late for special hands-on creative events as well. The first, “Embracing Crazy,” where attendees will make their own tinfoil hats, will be held December 10 at 5:30 p.m. ED Hose Illustration Studio, 135 Pier Market Village, 912.399.4533, edhose.com. She’s on Facebook as ED Hose Illustration and Twitter @EdHose.
