2024 Cold-Stunned Plunge

Support sea turtles on Georgia coast by taking a ‘cold-stunned’ plunge into the chilly Atlantic. Join the Jekyll Beach Village Marchants for this annual fun-and-frigid fundraising event for the Georgia Sea Turtle Center. Many sea turtles get caught in hypothermic water temperatures during the winter months, and your support will assist with cold-stun rehabilitation and recovery. Bring your towel, take the plunge, and raise some funds!
Register online HERE or in person in Beach Village on race day for $45, starting at 9:30am. All plungers should be on the beach and ready to plunge at 10:15am All ages are welcome to participate. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult on the beach. No refunds. Rain or shine event, cancelation for extreme weather conditions only.
