2nd Annual Golden Isles Hospitality Celebration

The Golden Isles Convention & Visitors Bureau is pleased to announce the return of its annual hospitality celebration to be held Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019 at The Cloister.

Following the success of last year’s inaugural event, the CVB will once again honor those who have made and continue to make significant, lasting impacts in the Golden Isles.

“It is a privilege for our organization to celebrate and recognize the hospitality industry and our community here in Glynn County,” said Scott McQuade, president and CEO of the Golden Isles CVB. “This is a night for those directly and indirectly related to the tourism sector to kick back, relax, catch up with colleagues and coworkers and celebrate the successes of the past year.”

CVB Receives Tourism Award

The second annual awards ceremony, along with live entertainment and a plated dinner, will all be a part of the evening celebrating the Golden Isles’ largest industry.

Award categories include Lifetime Achievement, Partner of the Year, Creative Expression, Best Impression, Rising Star, Behind the Scenes, Community Spirit and Shared Vision awards. The awards are an effort to recognize members all across the local hospitality industry, from back-of-house team members to front desk staff, and young workers to upper management.

“The Golden Isles Hospitality Awards honor those who have gone above and beyond their call of duty to deliver outstanding experiences throughout the area,” said McQuade. “The inaugural awards were inspiring, and we look forward to continuing to applaud the champions in our community.”
