5th Annual Redfern Goes Gold

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Every day, an average of 43 children under the age of 20 in the U.S. are diagnosed with cancer. A quarter of them will not survive the disease. In spite of the fact that cancer remains the number one disease killer of children in the U.S., only 4% of federal government cancer research funding is dedicated to it. The only way to make that change is by continuing to raise awareness. You can help by coming out to Gnat’s Landing on September 20 from 5:00-10:00 p.m. for the 5th Annual Redfern Goes Gold event. Enjoy good food and drinks, some live music, and help raise money for Team Alexa Fighting Back benefiting CURE Childhood Cancer by bidding on some awesome raffle items.
