9/11 Community Remembrance Ceremony

Glynn County will host a community remembrance ceremony at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, September 11 to mark the 25th anniversary of the 2001 terrorist attacks. The ceremony will honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost and recognize the courage of first responders, service members, and everyday Americans.
The event will take place on the lawn of the Historic Courthouse at 701 G Street in Brunswick and will include moments of silence, musical tributes, and the presentation and retiring of colors. Keynote speaker will be Larry Thompson, former United States Deputy Attorney General. All residents and visitors are invited to attend this solemn observance.
