A Taste of Glynn returns for its 22nd year in 2023 and they’re going big with a added award for barbeque, new restaurants participating, and the ability to double their impact. Mark Sunday, January 15 on your calendar so you can plan to be there to enjoy the delicious offerings and help Glynn Community Crisis Center (GCCC) help others.

Thanks to a challenge grant from the St. Mary’s Foundation, the event will have twice the impact in working to end domestic violence. The foundation has promised a dollar-for-dollar match up to $50,000, on all proceeds from the event, which benefits GCCC.

In addition to the chef-prepared food, live music and a silent auction will entertain patrons. Among other items, this year’s silent auction features a couple of one-of-a-kind culinary experiences. Chef Daniel Auffenberg of Dorothy’s is offering to prepare an in-home meal, valued at $1,000, for the highest bidder. Chef Dave Snyder, owner of Halyard’s Restaurant Group and Hook & Knife Charters, is offering a fishing trip that will culminate with Snyder preparing the catch from the day at Halyard’s restaurant.

A Taste of Glynn takes place from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 15, at The King and Prince Beach & Golf Resort. Tickets are $65 at the door or purchase in advance for $50 at atasteofglynn.com.
