American Cancer Society 17th Annual Breast Cancer Fashion Show & Luncheon

Join us Friday, October 28 for the 17^th Annual American Cancer Society Breast Cancer Fashion Show and Luncheon in our beautiful Golden Isles area. The models are ALL breast cancer survivors. Local “Faces of Hope” are participating in this special event to support women newly diagnosed with breast cancer with their personal testimony:  there IS HOPE. The fun, fashion-filled, fundraising kicks off at 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at Sea Palms Golf & Tennis Resort, Frederica Road, St. Simons Island. 

One out of every 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer during her lifetime; and  1% of all breast cancer diagnosed in the U.S. occurs in men? Celebrate “The Faces of Hope” with this special event. Survivors are beating this disease and, with your help, raising money for research to find a cure.

Fashions will be provided by Butler’s Stash; Maggie’s Boutique; King and Prince Golf Course; and, Two Friends. Tickets are $40 each. They can be purchased at the American Cancer Society Office (located at 3011 Hampton Ave, Suite 361), Lady and Gentlemen’s Outfitters (Shops at Sea Island) and Antiques, Etc. in Brunswick. The 2016 speaker is Ms. Shari Henning, Executive Vice President and Operating Officer, American Cancer Society, South Atlantic Division. Ms. Henning will share information about the American Cancer Society along with the services that are provided for cancer patients and families in our area.
