The Veterans Council of the Golden Isles invites the community to gather at Veterans Memorial Park in Downtown Brunswick as we honor the men and women who sacrificed their lives in service to our country.
Featured Speaker: Colonel Andrea O’Connor, Commander of the Office of Special Investigations Academy at FLETC
Color Guard: Presented by the OSIA from FLETC
Patriot of the Year: Alan Price, LTC, USAF (Ret.)
Community Recognition: A special acknowledgment will be given to former County Commissioner Mike Browning and the Glynn County Commission for their work in establishing Veterans Memorial Park
Complimentary Lunch: Hosted immediately after the ceremony at Brunswick Elks Lodge 691 (1509 Union St., Downtown Brunswick). Everyone is welcome.
