Please join the St. Simons Land Trust in celebrating the five-year anniversary of Cannon's Point Preserve with a full morning of presentations at the preserve. Due to inclement weather, outdoor activities have been cancelled, but that won’t spoil the day—wear your raincoat, bring an umbrella & celebratory attitude to come hear some great presentations! 

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

9AM: Living Shoreline Talk by Jan McKinnon (Pavilion) 

9:45AM: Ecology Lab Fun with Susan Shipman & Adam McKinnon (Ecology Lab)

10:30AM: Snake Presentation with live snakes by Dr. Kimberly Adams (Pavilion)

11:45AM Artifact Display and Presentation by Myrna Crooks (Pavilion) 

NOON Maritime Forest Restoration Presentation by Dr. Owen Burney 

Parking is limited. You’re encouraged to carpool with friends and family. Please bring your own snacks, and water. With no trash cans on site, remember to pack it in and pack it out!
