Come From Away
For FOUR PERFORMANCES ONLY, Come From Away returns to the Encore stage September 11–13. Earlier this year, the Encore cast had the incredible opportunity to share this remarkable true story with the Golden Isles community. When the opportunity came to bring the show back in honor of the 25th anniversary of September 11, every member of the cast said YES.
Come From Away tells the extraordinary true story of 7,000 airline passengers stranded in the small town of Gander, Newfoundland, in the days following September 11, 2001—and the people who opened their homes, their hearts, and their lives to complete strangers. It is a story about kindness in the face of tragedy. About strangers becoming friends. About finding laughter in the darkest moments. And about the very best of humanity.
If you saw it the first time, come back to Gander with Encore Company. If you missed it, this is your chance. And if there is someone in your life who needs to experience this story, bring them with you.
COME FROM AWAY - September 11–13 - FOUR SHOWS ONLY Fri & Sat 7:30pm; Sat & Sun 2:30pm - Encore Performing Arts Center
