Community Health & Wellness Fair

The annual Community Health & Wellness Fair is perfect for all ages. Learn about health and wellness services, including skin care, heart care, diabetes, cancer and so much more. Southeast Georgia Health System physicians and specialists, as well as community health-focused organizations, are available to offer helpful information about children and adult health care services. Don't miss out on free screenings, free medication reviews with a pharmacist and many more informative and fun-filled activities.

Free Health Screenings

Some of the free screenings offered at the Community Health & Wellness Fair include:

• Blood pressure
• Bone density
• Pulse oximetry
• Skin checks

Heart Health Screenings are also offered, which includes electrocardiogram (EKG) and lipid profile (12 hour fasting necessary). Appointments recommended; call 855-ASK-SGHS (855-275-7447) to schedule.

Free Medication Review

Bring all your medication bottles (prescription, over-the-counter and vitamins). A Health System pharmacist will discuss your medications with you.

Low-Cost Screenings

Some of the low-cost screenings offered at the Community Health & Wellness Fair include:

• Mammograms (screening): Scheduling a mammogram appointment is encouraged; however, walk-ins are welcome. Most insurance plans are accepted and financial assistance is available for qualifying patients. For an appointment, call 855-ASK-SGHS (855-275-7447).
