Derby Day 2025

Join Frederica Academy for their annual Derby Day signature fundraiser at Sea Island’s Retreat Clubhouse. The day’s festivities include the high-stakes thrill of the simulcast of the 151^st run for the roses at the Kentucky Derby, live entertainment, a hat parade, raffle, and exciting auctions, all supporting the students and programs of Frederica Academy. To tantalize the tastebuds there will also be delicious Derby-inspired culinary creations and refreshing mint juleps.

Derby Day crowd watching race

Even if you can’t be there in person, you can still participate in the excitement by bidding in the online silent auction or purchasing raffle tickets. Items up for bid in the silent auction can be accessed via the event website and will be available for online bidding from Sunday, April 27, through the event on May 3. All bidding on live auction packages will take place in person during the event.
