Fort Frederica Presbyterian Church presents a concert by Elizabeth von Trapp, granddaughter of the legendary Maria and Baron von Trapp, whose story inspired The Sound of Music. Inspired by her father Werner von Trapp's guitar playing and singing, Elisabeth has carried on the legacy of the internationally renowned Trapp Family Singers. She began taking piano when she was 8 and by age 16, she was playing guitar and traveling New England's backroads and performing with her siblings. She performs a repertoire that ranges from Back to Broadway and Schubert to Sting. Listeners have likened her voice and style to Judy Collins and Loreena McKennitt. The concert is free and open to the public.
