On Thursday, July 30 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., Glynn Visual Arts invites you into a rare kind of experience—one that is as much felt as it is seen. Holding Space: Glimpses of the Divine, a new exhibition by Randy Siegel, brings together paintings and sculptural works that explore connection, longing, and the unseen threads that bind us.

Siegel’s paintings serve as quiet portals—each one an invitation to pause, reflect, and sense the sacred within and around us. His three-dimensional “Bindings,” composed of fabric, rope, wire, thread, and intricate stitching, hold emotional tension and tenderness in equal measure—expressing yearning, love, and compassion through texture and form.

Opening night is more than a passive exhibition; it invites participation. Guests are invited into a live performance piece where Siegel will sit in stillness, silently holding space, offering presence, prayer, and intention for those who choose to receive it.

A conceptual art installation, Unanswered Prayers, invites visitors to offer expressions of gratitude, praise, or petition, reframing prayer not as a transaction, but as a relationship.

Often described as creating “postcards from the psyche,” Siegel draws on Jungian psychology, spirituality, and outsider art to awaken imagination, stir emotion, and deepen connection to self, others, and the Sacred.
