Golden Isles Dancing With the Stars

The Golden Isles Senior Citizens Foundation will host a Golden Isles Dancing with the Stars on Saturday, December 5 at Old City Hall. Local celebrity contestants Matt Doering, Glynn County Chief of Police; musician Michael Hulett;  Shauntia Lewis, Center Manager for Goodwill Industries of Coastal Empire; Capt. Angela Smith of the Brunswick Police Dept., and Trevor Stratton, Director of Operations for Westin Jekyll Island will be paired with professional dancers from Primo Ballroom Dance Studio. Proceeds will benefit Roosevelt Harris Senior Center, the meal program and adult day care services for at-risk elderly in Glynn County. “The Center’s Adult Day Care program continues to serve at capacity and grows faster than our funding. We continue to seek other forms of revenue and this event is the Center’s main fundraiser for 2015,” stated Center Director Darlene Wymes.
