Old electronics, clothes, batteries, prescription drugs, light bulbs, sensitive documents and scrap metal can be difficult to dispose of properly. The annual Keep Golden Isles Beautiful Electronics
& More Recycling Event held at Glynn Place Mall’s JCPenney end parking lot provides the community with the opportunity to rid their homes and businesses of these items safely and conveniently. The event takes place Saturday, May 18 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. For a $5 suggested donation per automobile, electronics, textile, battery, light bulb and scrap metal recycling, a prescription drug drop-off and on-site paper shredding services will be available. Volunteers will be on hand to unload materials brought to the event for recycling and the event is open rain or shine. Get the last of your spring cleaning done as we head into summer!
