Lighthouse Projection Show Screenings
To celebrate this momentous occasion of the St. Simons Lighthouse’s 150th birthday, a laser light show will be presented nightly September 2-5. Thousands of lumens of laser illumination will be used to transform the white tower into a movie screen, where the thrilling tales of sailors, keepers, and families who have used the Aid to Navigation over the past 150 years are brought to life. Paired with a dynamic soundtrack, the projection show will connect the audience to the deep history of our lighthouse, an iconic symbol of our community.
The 15 minute show will run on a loop September 2, 3, and 5 from 8:30 p.m. – 10 p.m. On Sunday, September 4, the show will start at 9 p.m. after the Little Light Music Sounds of Motown concert.
