An All White Jazz Night with Cedrick Frazier and Smooth Journey
The "All White Jazz Night with Cedrick Frazier and Smooth Journey" is an evening of entertainment to benefit the Christopher Holliman Achievement Scholarship fund. Join the house band, Smooth Journey, as they take listeners on a road trip of exciting and soulful music. This show will be filled with high energy performances of traditional jazz, soul, contemporary jazz, smooth jazz, Motown and R&B music. Renowned educator/author and flutist Karen Lott will display her virtuoso skill on the flute and will also be hosting a book signing immediately following the event. Local favorites Travis Brown, Shelia Tyson, Leon Mack, Shykeria Mangram, Taylor Clark and Phil Deshazior will also be featured. There will be powerful spoken word performances by Tyriq Bay, Keysha Strickland and Shawn Davies. This will be an evening of entertainment that you don't want to miss. The Christopher Holliman Achievement Scholarship is awarded to individuals diagnosed on the Autism spectrum who are pursuing higher education through any vocational/technical school or college in the University System of Georgia. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $10 on Eventbrite. Tickets will be $15 at the door the night of the event.
