Take part in this exciting, fun, free and potentially life-changing experience for children ages 8-17. The first 100 young people to sign up will take to the skies, courtesy of Chapter 905 of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) based at McKinnon St. Simons Island Airport. Through their Young Eagles program, EAA pilots take their young passengers on 15-20 minute flights over the rivers, marshes & beaches to demonstrate the freedom and excitement of aviation firsthand. On land, EAA members take time to explain how aircraft flight works and share information about the multitude of opportunities in the career field of aviation. A parent or guardian must be present to give permission to fly for each child. To fly with the Young Eages, please visit www.flightsquid.com/event/3370 and select a flight time.
