Sea Island’s holiday menus offer choices that can be tailored to every appetite and budget. If you’d like a buffet, you can choose the traditional holiday buffet with horseradish and peppercorn crusted NY Strip and black truffle poached chicken roulade with complementing salads and sides and decadent desserts or the Southern staples of the plantation supper buffet with fried chicken and carved brisket (and an optional oyster station), Brunswick stew, sweet potato soufflé and Sea Island corn muffins. Your dining experience can be customized with holiday reception stations that include options for pasta, grits, salad, sushi, or sweets, as well as the standard ham, turkey, and prime rib carving stations. Tray-passed hors d’oeuvres for parties range from the fun crispy lobster pops, mini grilled cheese and Kobe corn dogs to the more fancy tuna tartar on a silver spoon, medley tomato stuffed with blue cheese and walnuts, and Sea Island’s famous Crab Maison on brioche. No matter what your choice, you can be assured of exquisite cuisine.
Of course, the resort itself is a lavishly decorated wonderland that must be seen during the holidays. But if you need additional incentive to visit Sea Island restaurants, they offer diners an extra treat during the month of December: special prix fixe menus with 2 courses for $22 (2 courses for $33 at the Georgian Room) or 3 courses for $33 at one of their six restaurants (based on availability). Whether a reunion with friends at Southern-inspired steakhouse, Colt & Alison, an intimate date-night dinner at The Georgian Room, or a family meal at the rustic Italian eatery, Tavola, December is the perfect time to reacquaint yourself with the fabulous fare and splendid service that are the trademarks of Sea Island’s restaurants.

Holiday Entertaining Tips from Sea Island:
To save money on décor, pick a venue that is already decorated for the holidays so you can focus your budget on food and beverage. Sea Island is the perfect holiday party venue because our event spaces will be exquisitely dressed to the nines with holiday flare!
If you can, budget for musical entertainment. From an acoustic guitarist to a pianist playing on a baby grand, to a bluegrass trio, you will complete the party with background music, which will compliment your space and overall “look”.
