Nothing but Love here! Join Davis and Robin Love at their beautiful home for the 2024 Blue Jean Ball benefiting the Humane Society of South Coastal Georgia.
Back by popular demand are delectable culinary delights offered by Halyards, as well as live and silent auctions. In addition to the auctions that have been so popular in the past, there are unique new opportunities to benefit the animals and the auction winners. Here is a peek at what is being so generously donated:
One of the live auction items up for bid will be a 5-night stay in a recently built, beautifully appointed Spanish Peaks Mountain Club home. This breathtaking chalet is in Big Sky, Montana. Skiing, golfing, hiking, biking, fishing, and more are easily accessible. The winning bidder will also have access to the Spanish Peaks Mountain Club's amenities. Don't miss out on this amazing package for that much deserved getaway.
One of the silent auctions will include a vintage, handmade children's ensemble with authentic, intricate detailing by Martha Demere. Martha is a Humane Society Board member and graduate of The Royal School of Needlework, with distinction. She is also a published designer of children’s heirloom clothing. The material will include French Maline and Swiss laces and will be created in a size 2, 3 or 4. It will be ready in time for Easter 2025. Just imagine how perfect this item will be for a family or individual portrait! (The actual ensemble may differ slightly from the picture due to yardage). We can't wait to see who the lucky winner is!
This fundraiser, developed to help fund the care of homeless animals, showcases the Southern tradition of merging casual attire, hard work, and hard play. Unfortunately, there are many instances where special care is needed for the animals that come through the doors of HSSCG. Prosecco, one of their recent intakes was a victim of a hoarding case. Coming from horrific living conditions, unsocialized and pregnant, this little girl was sent to foster after her medical intake exam. She was in desperate need of specialized long-term care. After medication, lots of TLC, and major steps in socializing, Prosecco is now the proud mother of 7 puppies, and all are doing well.

Sadly, there are many more animals like Prosecco who need your help so raising funds through events like the Blue Jean Ball and soliciting donations is necessary. How can you help their mission? Foster, volunteer, donate! Every little bit helps! Come to the Blue Jean Ball to enjoy the auctions, the games (like the popular Heads or Tails), the food, and a fun time with friends. But most of all, come out for the animals! To purchase tickets or a sponsorship, visit hsscg.org/blue-jean-ball.
