Brunswick-Glynn County Library - 208 Gloucester Street
In order to fulfill its mission to meet the informational, educational, recreational, and cultural needs of our community, the Marshes of Glynn Libraries provide the public with access to a variety of exhibits and displays that may feature the work of outside individuals and groups. The central hallway of the Brunswick Library is a dedicated gallery space for this purpose. Stop by and see the new exhibit for June during the First Thursday Brunswick Art Loop on Thursday, June 5 from 5:30-7pm.
Historic Ritz Theatre - Wilcox Gallery - 1530 Newcastle Street
On display in the Wilcox Gallery June 4-26: GEORGIA ARTISTS WITH DISABILITIES. Sponsored by the Pilots Club of Metro Atlanta and the Brunswick Pilot Club, this annual touring exhibit features the work of artists from all over the state in a variety of media, including painting, photography, clay pottery, mosaic, textiles, and other fine art media.
Reception during June's Brunswick Art Loop Thursday, June 4 from 5-7pm.
Gallery hours are Tuesday-Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p. m. and during performances and events. Admission to all art exhibits in The Wilcox Gallery at the Ritz Theatre is free. Anderson Fine Art Gallery - 3309 Frederica Rd.
Works on display in Anderson Fine Art Gallery include an outstanding group of professional and emerging artists and offers landscapes, still life, and some non-representational works. Seasonal exhibitions complement their curated core collection of paintings and sculpture.

Anderson Studio Gallery - 100 Sylvan Drive, Suite 170
Anderson Studio Gallery, formerly known as the Artists Annex, located right around the corner from Anderson Fine Art Gallery, is now a remodeled gallery, featuring pop-up exhibits and is the location for the many workshops hosted by Anderson Fine Art Gallery. These workshops have been held for more than 15 years and are taught by professional artists from across the country who come to the island to instruct fellow painters. Students travel year-round to attend the studio and plein air workshops. Full workshop schedule can be found at workshopsonstsimonsisland.com and attached below. Artist Sherry Egger also offers private instruction by appointment in the studio.

Glynn Visual Arts - 106 Island Drive
On display in the Portman Gallery through June 12: A visual ode to unfinished or abandoned artworks reclaimed into stunning floral collages by award-winning Atlanta artist Kathy Rennell Forbes in Unexpected Beauty. Forbes reveals her newest obsession in creating vibrant, joyful art from unwanted or unfinished pieces otherwise left to wither. She uses mixed media watercolors on repurposed, hand-made watercolor paper adhered to canvases and panels.

“With a POP” GVA Member Show - June 16 - July 24
Pop art is a movement from the 20th century that reflected popular culture using irony and wit to blur the line between advertising and "real" art. GVA artist members exhibit their interpretation of this art movement in art that "POPS off the wall."

Jekyll Island Art Association - Goodyear Cottage - Historic District

The Stables at Frederica (150 Frederica Stables Drive, SSI) will host an Art Open House from 4-7pm for "Abstract in Nature," a special art show featuring the works of Patty Crowl, Pam Brannen, Hilary Kent, Suzanne Scaglione, Dan Wilson, Kim Bartholomew, and Ute Kleeman. Wine and light hors d'oeuvres will be served.

Come to Postell Market under the oaks in Pier Village on St. Simons Island to shop unique, handmade items from 50-70 talented artisans and makers from around the Southeast at Crafts in the Village. Admission is free. Vendors on site Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 10am-4pm.

As guests move from one gallery to the next, they can enjoy a complimentary glass of wine and light refreshments, creating an experience that is as social as it is artistic.
