100 Years of Island Education and Culture

Historic Harrington School and Cultural Center continued the celebration of its 100th anniversary with a Taste of Gullah. Attendees enjoyed delicious cuisine that captured the soul of our island’s Geechee Gullah culture and heritage, tours of the historic schoolhouse, and a performance by the renowned Geechee Gullah Ring Shouters.
