Ben Slade Retirement Party

Old Stables Corner on St. Simons Island was the site of a recent celebration. Fittingly, it was the place where the St. Simons Land Trust chose to honor one of their own upon his retirement. Community members came out to bid best wishes to Ben Slade as he stepped down from his position as head of the organization responsible for saving that corner and acres of other green space on the island.
