Christmas is a magical time in the Golden Isles, from the night the thousands and thousands of lights are lit on Jekyll Island to Santa’s ride on the antique fire truck around St. Simons Island on Christmas Eve. The EIL elves managed to capture some of the holiday fun around town at the Cassina Garden Club’s annual Best Bake Sale in the East, a Fireside Story with Saint Nick at Christ Church Frederica, the Coastal Symphony of Georgia’s holiday concert featuring pianist Terry Readdick, Painting with Santa at The King and Prince Resort, Glynn Visual Arts’ Mistletoe Market, Restoration Imports’ Carte Blanche Holiday Open House, and Golden Isles Olive Oil’s Breakfast with The Grinch (plus Santa & friends) and #EndTheStigma Toy Drive.
