Keeping Coastal Culture Alive - Taste of Gullah 2026

Authentic and modern Gullah Geechee cuisine, performance of traditional song and dance by the Gullah Geechee Ring Shouters, storytelling, and music by Freddie Britt were the highlights of the evening at Village Creek Landing. This celebratory event, which supports the preservation of Historic Harrington School Cultural Center, also marked the 25^th anniversary of its host, the St. Simons African American Heritage Coalition.
