History lovers of all ages enjoyed a special Semiquincentennial experience at Gascoigne Bluff Park on St. Simons Island. The Coastal Georgia Historical Society and The First Oval Office Project of the Museum of the American Revolution invited visitors to step back in time with a replica of George Washington’s mobile command center for the Continental Army, dining and soldiers’ tents, and costumed reenactors.
