The Southeastern Writers Association is thrilled to have award-winning author Cassandra King as an instructor and speaker for the 2023 SWA Writers Conference. Cassandra is giving the Keynote Address on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 7pm. The event will take place at Epworth By The Sea in the Jones Auditorium. The Keynote Address is FREE and open to the public. There will be a book signing following her talk. Books will be available for purchase at the event. Coffee and snacks will be served during the book signing.
CASSANDRA KING is an award-winning author of five bestselling novels and two nonfiction books in addition to numerous short stories, essays, and magazine articles. Her latest book, Tell Me A Story, a memoir about life with her late husband, Pat Conroy, was named SIBA’s 2020 non-fiction Book of the Year. A native of LA (Lower Alabama), Cassandra resides in Beaufort, South Carolina, where she is honorary chair of the Pat Conroy Literary Center.
